Most Anticipated Sneakers of July 2021

With the month of June coming to a close, July is right around the corner bringing with it some new heat.

This month we have more Jordans, Dunks and Yeezys which are all something to be excited about.

Today, we’ve compiled a list of some of the most anticipated sneaker releases for July and how you can acquire them in Australia.

Read to the end to know about one of the most anticipated collaborations of the year!

Air Jordan 6 Retro Gold Hoops (Wmns)

Starting the month of July we have the Women’s Jordan 6 Gold hoops.

This women’s exclusive takes inspiration from gold earrings and uses interconnected gold hoops as an attachment to the Jordan 6 lace toggle.

The shoe itself includes white medium-grain tumbled leather accompanying a milky-white translucent rubber outsole.

Retailing at the usual Jordan 6 price point of $260 AUD, this shoe will release on the 1st of July at selected Nike stores and online.

Expect this shoe to be very popular during the summer and not on shelves for long!

New Balance 990 V3 Bodega Here To Stay

Also on the 1st of July we have the New Balance 990 V3 Bodega to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Bodega.

The New Balance 990 V3 Bodega follows the ‘dad shoe’ design and has all the features you would expect from a New Balance sneaker.

The majority of the sneaker consists of neutral tones that contrast the off-white midsole and beige suede overlays.

Inspired by the idea of preservation and people’s need to be remembered, the shoe has “2006” and “2021” embroidered on the heel cap to commemorate the anniversary.

The shoe will have a global release on July 1 for $220 USD on the Bodega website and will definitely be in high demand.

If you are yet to own a retro New Balance shoe, I would say not to miss out on this amazing shoe!

Air Jordan 4 Retro White Oreo (2021)

For the 3rd of July we have the Jordan 4 Tech White/ White Oreo.

This Air Jordan 4 brings a new perspective to the historic model by adopting a white leather upper and Jumpman logo on the heel and tongue.

The shoe also contains a cement finish on the midsole and eyelets paying homage to the “Oreo” from years prior.

The Jordan 4 Teach White/White Oreo will be available on the 3rd of July for $260 AUD via in store raffles and online releases at Nike, JD Sports and Foot Locker.

Reminiscing previous colourways such as the 2016 White Cement, expect this shoe to be in high demand and flying off shelves!

Nike SB Dunk High Reverse Goldenrod

The Nike SB Dunk High Reverse Golden Rod also makes its appearance on the 3rd of July as an apt follow up to the Dunk High “Varsity Maize” in 2020.

The upper is made up of a resilient nubuck and features a bold yellow two-tone look.

This contrasts the stark black on the heel, mudguard and eyestays completing the look.

This SB Dunk High will be releasing exclusively in skate stores and nike snkrs on July 3rd for $160 AUD.

With its design roots  going all the way back to the 1985 “Be True to Your School” Dunk pack, this shoe will definitely be in demand.

Yeezy Foam Runner MX Cream Clay/Ochre

Although there haven't been any confirmed sneaker release dates, the Yeezy Foam Runner in the MX Cream Clay and Ochre colorway should also be releasing in July.

Just like how the “Sand”, “Moon Gray” and “Mineral Blue” did extremely well, I expect this colourway to be just as popular.

The MX Cream Clay colourway showcases an interesting makeup consisting of brown and grey streaks on top of a sail base.

It is also revealed that the “MX” refers to the randomized colour scheme of the shoe and how each pair will be unique in colour.

The Ochre colourway reveals the prehistoric Yeezy Foam runner design in an orange colour.

Just like all the previous models designed by Kanye, these July Foam Runners models won't be any different in shape and feature the algae based foam construction.

Both colourways will release sometime in July for the usual price of $130 AUD online at Adidas Australia.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High Electro Orange

One of the highly anticipated releases of the month is the Air Jordan 1 High OG Electro Orange.

Dubbed as the Shattered Backboard 4.0, this sneaker is scheduled to release on July 17th in both adult and GS sizes.

Sporting a more punchier and vibrant orange, this sneaker adopts a slightly glossier finish on the ankle collar with hints of a citrus hue on the swoosh logos.

This new take on the Jordan 1 also utilises the original “Black Toe” look without the ankle and heel matching.

It is possible that Jordan Brand will continue to use this color blocking in the future as they continue to expand the Retro High OG category.

The Jordan 1 High Electro Orange in men sizing will be available for $230 AUD online and in store at Foot Locker, select Nike stores and certain boutiques.

Despite the overwhelming amount of Jordan 1s released this year, don't expect these shoes to stay on shelves long!

Jordan 1 Retro High Fragment x Travis Scott

Finally for the end of July, news has come about that the Jordan 1 High Travis Scott x Fragment will be releasing on the 29th.

Having been teased, leaked and talked about since March, sneakerheads around the world have been dying to see these and get their hands on this coveted collaboration.

For the first time, Travis Scott and Fragment have gone with a blend of white, black and blue to create a unique colourway.

Just like the previous Travis Scott x air jordan collab, this Jordan 1 will also feature the oversized backwards swoosh, a stash pocket and a vintage-inspired midsole.

On the right heel of the shoe features the fragment design and on the left, the cactus jack face logo.

Although no stores have been confirmed, expect there to be an online release on the Travis Scott main page and at special boutiques such as Supply.

This air jordan release will be a very tough drop so good luck to everyone wishing to cop!
